INA, Ill. (August 22, 2023) – Belleville East High School's Noah Ramos has announced that he will be continuing his golf career at Rend Lake College in Fall 2023.

Ramos has had a standout career at Belleville. He has consistently performed at a high level on the course, proving that he has the skill set to play at a collegiate level. His accomplishments include:

-3rd Team All-Conference (Fall 2022)

-1st Team All-Area (Fall 2022)

-Class 3A State Tournament Qualifier (Fall 2022)

-Indian Springs Club Champion (2021 & 2022)

Ramos states that he is always "trying to be better than [he] was yesterday."

The coaching staff at RLC is excited to see his contributions to their team of talented golfers.

 "Noah is an impressive young man," says RLC Men's Golf Head Coach Corey Phillips. "I know he will fit in very well with the team this Fall.  He is excited to be a Warrior and we are excited to have him.  I am confident that Noah's best golf is ahead of him."

Ramos joins other freshman signings for Fall of 2023 including Nick Melvin from Benton (IL) and Jake Williams from Wales (UK).  Returning sophomores include Blaze Greathouse from Mount Vernon (IL), Dalton Nichols of Dahlgren (IL), Austin Price of Harmony (FL), and Eric Hernandez of Kissimmee (FL).  The Warriors men's golf team finished the 2022/2023 season ranked 25th out of 59 NJCAA Division II teams in the country.  The Fall 2023 tournament schedule for the men's golf team will be released soon.

We wish Noah the best of luck as he begins this new chapter in his golf career. His talent and determination will undoubtedly lead to success at Rend Lake College and beyond.
