INA, Ill. (February 7, 2024) – Jaden Smith from Waterloo announced he will be playing for the men’s golf team at Rend Lake College in Fall 2024.

Smith said, “As soon as I left the course with Coach Phillips, I knew that I wanted to be at RLC the next two years. I love the campus and all it has to offer athletically and academically. I'm grateful for the opportunity and I cannot wait to get started next Fall."

The coaching staff at RLC is excited to see his contributions to their team of talented golfers.

"Jaden has enjoyed success on various athletic teams in high school,” said RLC Men’s Golf Head Coach Corey Phillips. “During his senior season this past fall, he was a Class IIA Sectional Qualifier and also named to the All Area Team. There is going to be a lot of competition for our top 6 spots next fall and I'm very excited about that."

We wish Smith the best of luck as he begins this new chapter in his golf career. His talent and determination will undoubtedly lead to success at Rend Lake College and beyond.
