INA, Ill. (11/29/2023) – Okawville high school student Shane Klasing has announced he will be playing for the men's golf team at Rend Lake College in Fall 2024.

The coaching staff at RLC is excited to see his contributions to their team of talented golfers.

"Shane is another great addition to our roster for next Fall," said RLC Head Coach for men's golf Corey Phillips. "He has experience playing on competitive teams there at Okawville, which always translates well to the next level. He also enjoyed some individual success this year as a sectional qualifier and an All-Conference selection. I feel that Shane's game tee to green will match up very well at this level. He made it clear that RLC is where he wants to be and we're glad to have him."

We wish Klasing the best of luck as he begins this new chapter in his golf career. His talent and determination will undoubtedly lead to success at Rend Lake College and beyond.
