INA, Ill. (April 28, 2020) — After a solid first year on the links, freshman Brendan Luster (Benton) earned a spot on the NJCAA Division II Central All-Region Team, the Golf Coaches Association of America announced earlier this month.

A pair of top-five finishes at tournaments in September helped Luster earn the recognition. He placed third overall at the Vincennes Invitational and followed that with a fifth-place finish at the John A. Logan Fall Invitational. RLC Head Golf Coach Jeremy May hopes to see Luster carry that success into his sophomore season.

“Brendan has great potential and works as hard as anyone I have coached at the game,” May said. “He had worked extremely hard on his game this winter and was looking great for the spring events.”
