
INA, Ill. (March 3, 2025) — The Warriors head into the Region 24 DII tournament as the number two seed and will play Lewis & Clark at home Tuesday, March 4 at 7pm. The Warriors finished the season on a high note with a home win over Shawnee 82-78. Rend Lake College finished the season with a 16-14 overall record and 8-8 in the tough GRAC conference.
The Warriors have been led by Freshman Elijah Edosa. He leads the team in scoring averaging 15 points, while hauling down almost 10 rebounds per game. Sophomore Rolen Adams, 14 points per game and almost 5 rebounds, and Navontae Nesbit and Zeke Wilson both with 12 per game round out the guys scoring in double figures. The Warriors have had contributions from the entire team this season and hope to use the depth they have developed to their advantage in the postseason.
The Warriors open on Tuesday night and with a win would move on to the semifinals on March 7 at Spoon River. The finals will be March 8 at Spoon River and the Warriors are looking to win three games this week to advance to the next rounds.
