INA, Ill. (January 2, 2025) — The Warriors head into the break having been very good on the home court at 4-1, but must find a way to close games on the road. With only three returners from last season, the Warriors have gotten a lot good experience in these first 11 games, 5-6 overall, and hope that will help them in the Region 24 and GRAC play.

The Warriors have been led by Freshman Elijah Edosa. He leads the team in scoring averaging 16.3 points, while hauling down almost 11 rebounds per game, good for 9th nationally. Sophomore Rolen Adams, 15 points per game and almost 5 rebounds, and Navontae Nesbit, 13 points per game, round out the guys scoring in double figures. Sophomore Greg Cole, who is shooting close to 40% from the three-point line, is averaging close to 8 per game along with fellow sophomore Brady Moore, 8.8 points per game.

The Warriors open the second half of the season at home on January 4 vs GRAC foe Olney Central at 3:00 pm. The team looks to get healthy over the holidays and will be adding 6’9 Ezekiel Wilson to the mix.

“We look forward to having our whole group ready to go in the new year," said Head Coach Tim Wills. "We feel like if we clean a few things up we have a chance to be in every game."
