INA, Ill. (March 5, 2024) — Rend Lake College (6) will head to John Wood (3) tomorrow night for the first round of the NJCAA DII Region XXIV Tournament. RLC won its last four region games, including a 65-61 home win over John Wood on Feb. 4. The Warriors and Blazers tip off at 7:30 pm tomorrow night. John Wood streams games live here, according to its website.
The Warriors (7-7 against R24 region opponents) drew the six seed for the tournament. Lincoln Land — also 7-7 in the region — grabbed the five seed since the Loggers had more road wins. RLC's offense is led by 6-5 freshman guard Justin King (Mascoutah) with 19 points per game. Other top contributors include freshman Keith Robinson of Louisville, Ky. (12 ppg) and sophomore guard Reece Johnson of Benton at 9 ppg.
