INA, Ill. (March 4, 2025) — The Athletic department has named Ethan Landis, Baseball, the February Student Athlete of the Month. The Sophomore from Calvert City, KY has had quite the start to his second season. Landis has filled up the stat sheet this month, hitting .415 with 4 doubles, 1 HR and 11 stolen bases out of the leadoff spot. He has also played good defense in both the outfield and at third base for the Warriors.

“Landis has been the catalyst at the top of our lineup all year," said head coach Chris Moddelmog. "He has stuck to his approach and has really been consistent at the plate and in the field."

The student athlete of the month is given each month to recognize our athletes on and off the field. The winner’s picture will be on display at the entrance of the REC and outside the athletic offices in the gym.
