The Rend Lake Archery Team shot their first-ever competition last weekend, participating in the North Regional Collegiate 3D Archery Championship.
RLC finished 1st in the Men's Bowhunter Team Round and 4th in the Mixed Team Bowhunter Round and Overall Team Awards.
Individual scores: in the Men Bowhunter category, Kaleb Miller (Sesser) finished the competition with a score of 381 to finish sixth overall. Jacob Price (Sparta) shot a 372. Colby Solomon (Wayne City) shot a 367, and River Karney (McLeansboro) shot a 334. In Women Bowhunter, Elma Gilbert (Mt. Vernon) shot a 320 for the fifth highest score.
